Why Volunteer?

Every mile ridden is made possible by people who choose to show up, lend a hand, and make a difference.

Whether you’re welcoming riders before sunrise, cheering cyclists at a rest stop, supporting them along the route, or celebrating with them at the finish line, your time helps create an unforgettable experience while supporting local childhood cancer research.

No cycling experience is required. Whether you’re an individual, family, student, cycling club, or corporate team, we’ll help you find a volunteer role where you can make an impact and be part of the Gear Up Crew.
