\u2019Twas the day before the Gear Up Against Kids Cancer and all through the land,<\/strong>
\nThe cyclists were prepping, their gear close at hand.
\nTheir jerseys were folded, their helmets were tight,
\nTheir bikes had been tuned for the long morning flight.<\/p>\n

The routes had been mapped with precision and care,<\/strong>
\nIn hopes that good weather would soon be there.
\nWith water bottles filled and tires pumped with air,
\nThey dreamed of the wind rushing fast through their hair.<\/p>\n

The volunteers gathered, their stations all set,<\/strong>
\nWith first aid and snacks \u2014 the best you can get!
\nThe medics were ready, the signs were all placed,
\nAnd the start\/finish line had been perfectly laced.<\/p>\n

The riders were nestled all snug in their beds,<\/strong>
\nWhile visions of brisket danced in their heads.
\nFrom po\u2019boys to brownies, and tea on the side,
\nThey dreamed of the feast that would follow their ride.<\/p>\n

At Floresville Park, the sun will soon rise,<\/strong>
\nAnd cyclists will gather with joy in their eyes.
\nFrom newbies on cruisers to racers in kits,
\nThey\u2019ll all ride together in groups and in bits.<\/p>\n

With cheers from the crowd and cowbells that ring,<\/strong>
\nThey\u2019ll pedal with purpose, with hearts on a string.
\nFor kids who are fighting, for families in need,
\nEach mile they ride is a powerful deed.<\/p>\n

So thank you, dear riders, for all that you do,<\/strong>
\nFor showing the world what compassion can do.
\nWe\u2019ll see you at sunrise \u2014 come ready to roll,
\nTogether we ride, with one heartfelt goal.<\/p>\n

Parking & Checking In<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enter the Floresville River City Park<\/a> parking lot using the park entrance. Please note that cyclists will be entering\/exiting through this entrance. Check in at the orange canopy and pick up your bib number, then head to the pavilion to collect your participant shirt.<\/p>\n
